Chris Card and Roger Felton's 4½ litres with Colin Lightman's Arnage in the background

With an uncanny ability to pick out the good weather Colin Lightman organised an excellent Public House luncheon meet om Thursday 8 September 2016, The conditions brought out a number of the old cars including Chris & Liz Card in their 4½, Roger & Nora Felton in their 4½, Nicholas Channing in his Speed Six, Stephen Sapsworth in his 4½ and yours truly in my 3 litre.

Guy Talbot's GT, my 3 litre and Stephen Sapsworth's 4½ which has some interesting detailing

The modern brigade were represented by Colin & Jean Lightman in their Arnage, Guy & Lyn Talbot in thier GT and John & Fay Dorton in their Mulsanne, which sported a number plate with my initials!. Also in the car park was Alan Peck's Peterson.

Also at the meet were Stuart and Christine Jeffers with their friends Beryl and Terrry. Stuart's Arnage was 'hors de combat' and they arrived in something that was not a Bentley. The Arnage is on the mend and should be back in service by the time you read this. Bob and Jean Balchin were also in attendance and it was good to see them.
